Tutbury Castle in Staffordshire is one of the most haunted Castles in England. It has a wealth of history which includes Henry VIII and Mary Queen of Scots. The Curator of Tutbury Castle is non other than Lesley Smith, a wonderfully popular historian who has done much TV work and delivers history in the most enchanting and enlightening way bringing the Castle to life for her audience.
Lesley will be showing you around her Castle and sharing with you the amazing history and secrets held within its walls. She will be telling you about the many ghosts and spirits that haunt here. Haunted Happenings have run many events at Tutbury Castle including some very terrifying overnight ghost hunts and although the Castle has sometimes scared us out of our wits, we love this place and Haunted Happenings feel proud to call it their second home.
Your day will be full of activity. Not only will you participate in a remarkable session of Clairvoyance with Derek Acorah but you will have the opportunity to take part in ghost vigils with the Haunted Happenings Team in the very haunted dungeon. There will be workshops in the Great Hall and spooky undercrofts where you will have the opportunity to learn how to ghost hunt and use all of our ghost hunting equipment. You will also be able to spend some time carrying out a vigil in The King’s Bedroom. This room has seen some phenomenal paranormal activity and has left people in no doubt about the existence of the afterlife. It is also reputed to be one of the most haunted rooms in the uk.
There will be opportunities for you to book a personal reading from the Haunted Happenings Psychics and Mediums. There will also be wonderful opportunities to win a space to work with Derek Acorah on a more personal level and join him in a select vigil in the Great Hall and King’s Bedroom. This will be an unforgettable experience for all participants.
